Developments to bistable Droplet-Driven Displays (D³) include pixels sizes scalable from 0.5mm to 10mm, miniaturized electronics utlizing VFD driver ICs, enhanced sunlight readability and a stacked CMY configuration, facilitating applications like indicators (environmental friendly as replacement of status LEDs) and 8-Segment displays as well as electronic billboards.
